Got Questions?
Here are the most common questions we get from homeowners about landscape curbing. Don't see yours? Reach out — we're happy to help.
Landscape curbing (also called concrete edging) is a continuous concrete border installed directly along the edges of your flower beds, garden areas, driveways, and walkways. Unlike plastic or metal edging, concrete curbing is machine-extruded on-site, creating a seamless, durable border that defines your landscaping with clean, permanent lines. It keeps mulch and rock in place, prevents grass from creeping into beds, and gives your yard a polished, professional appearance.
Landscape curbing typically costs between $5 and $12 per linear foot, depending on the style, pattern, and color you choose. Most residential projects range from $1,000 to $3,000 total. Factors that affect pricing include the total footage needed, the complexity of curves and corners, the stamped pattern or color finish selected, and site accessibility. We provide free, no-obligation estimates so you know exactly what to expect — no hidden fees or surprises.
Most residential curbing projects are completed in just one day. Depending on the size and complexity of your project, installation typically takes between 4 and 8 hours. We arrive with all materials and equipment ready to go. After installation, the curbing needs approximately 24 to 48 hours to fully cure before regular foot traffic or mowing near the edges.
We offer a wide range of curbing styles to match any landscape design. Our most popular profiles include mower curbing (sloped for easy mowing), square/flat-top curbing, and rounded styles. We also provide decorative stamped patterns such as brick, cobblestone, flagstone, and slate that add a custom look. Curbing can be colored to complement your home’s exterior and existing landscape features.
Yes! We offer a full range of integral concrete colors that are mixed directly into the concrete for long-lasting, fade-resistant results. Popular colors include natural buff, sandstone, adobe tan, charcoal, terra cotta, and custom shades. We can also apply color hardeners for more vivid tones or antique release agents for a multi-toned, natural stone appearance. We’ll help you choose a color that complements your home and landscaping.
Concrete curbing is very low-maintenance. We recommend applying a concrete sealer every 2 to 3 years to protect the color and surface from UV exposure and weathering. You can clean your curbing with a garden hose or pressure washer on a low setting. Avoid hitting the curbing directly with a string trimmer, as repeated contact can chip the surface over time. If minor cracks develop due to natural ground settling, they can usually be patched easily.
Not at all. Our installation process is minimally invasive. We use specialized curbing machines that extrude concrete directly along the edge of your beds and lawn. There is no digging or excavation involved. We take great care to protect your existing grass, plants, and mulch beds during the process. After installation, your lawn will look the same — just with a clean, professional border framing it.
With proper care, concrete landscape curbing can last 25 years or more. Concrete is one of the most durable edging materials available, far outlasting plastic, metal, or wood borders. It withstands Georgia’s freeze-thaw cycles, resists shifting and settling, and maintains its shape season after season. Applying sealer periodically will help preserve its appearance for decades.
